Phase I of a Master Plan for interpreting the preservation of a 25 Acre section of Queen Lili ‘uokalani property on the Island of Hawai’i. Formerly under agriculture, the site is a treasure trove of cultural artifacts.

The story of Queen Lili ‘uokalani, the only female and last sovereign Hawaiian ruler, unfolds on the “black wave”, a stunning multi-video sculpture.

Scope: Master Planning, Interpretive/Exhibit/Media Design and production.
